chunkx adapts to doctors’ hectic schedules and is easy to integrate into everyday life. Learning is possible on the cell phone, in the browser and on the tablet. Doctors are also kept up to date with learning summaries, recommendations on new articles or studies and updates. This can be done via email follow-ups. If required, learners can receive their notifications via MS Teams.

The project presented illustrates the need for new learning solutions and supportive learning measures in the medical field. In responsible professions, considerable resources are invested in continuing education and training. However, the output is often lower than the input due to various factors, including the abundance of learning content, time constraints, low motivation, theoretical content and lack of individual learning support. Especially after graduation, continuous education and training gains enormous importance due to new findings and rapid developments in many areas. The continuing education and training of doctors is just one example of many, as there are numerous other players in the healthcare sector that require innovative learning solutions for continuing education and training, for example in nursing, therapy and diagnostics.
